Increasing Visibility for Black Artists
ARTE NOIR's Black Artist Roster was designed to serve as a creative hub, offering access to professional development opportunities, calls for art, funding and residencies, chances to exhibit in our gallery space, and more. Open to emerging and established artists of all disciplines.
Black Artist Roster

For Artists
This singular directory provides a place for you to find a wide range of opportunities, including:
-
Public and private art commissions
-
Speaking engagements
-
Performing arts requests
-
Residencies and retreats
-
Professional development workshops
-
Job and internship openings
While participation in the Roster does not guarantee you an opportunity, it is created to significantly increase your access to available work.
For Organizations
We've developed a dedicated portal to streamline the process for organizations seeking Black artists. When you share an arts opportunity through our portal, we will forward that information directly to artists on our roster. This ensures your opportunity reaches a curated network of talented Black creatives.
Opportunities can include but are not limited to calls for artists and curators, grants, and funding opportunities.
