Join us for a special First Friday Central District Art Walk at ARTE NOIR on Friday, August 7!
Experience the work of Zandy Mowry, a Nashville, Tennessee-born-and-raised collage mixed-media artist and musician whose practice is rooted in storytelling. Through layered collage and music, Zandy celebrates the history, resilience, and lived experiences of Black people while exploring themes of identity, culture, and connection. Each work invites viewers to uncover meaningful narratives woven into every piece.
Presented in partnership with the Heritage & Hustle Foundation, this special Art Walk activation celebrates the power of storytelling through visual art while highlighting the connections between history, creativity, and community.
