About the event

In this immersive 3-hour, hands-on clay workshop, participants will explore the art of sculpting the human face—one feature at a time. Through guided demonstrations and individual practice, you’ll learn techniques for creating expressive and realistic eyes, mouths, noses, and ears. We’ll focus on understanding the underlying structure of each feature, how they relate to one another, and how subtle adjustments can bring life and emotion to your work. Along the way, you’ll discover helpful tips and tricks for shaping, refining, and adding detail to achieve convincing results in clay.

By the end of the class, you’ll have a set of sculpted feature studies—mini reference models you can take home and use as invaluable tools for future portrait or figure sculpting projects. Whether you’re new to clay or looking to refine your sculptural skills, this workshop offers a focused, hands-on approach to mastering the essential elements of the human face.
