Prove it On Us Workshop with Akoiya Harris

In this workshop, guests will explore the creation of Prove It On Us, choreographed by Akoiya Harris. The group will learn the history behind some of the Blues Women referenced in the piece and discuss how to turn archival materials into dance. Guests will also engage in movement exercises to embody the material we discuss.

This free workshop will be hosted in collaboration with ARTE NOIR and Afrosapphix and open to all levels.
