October's First Friday CD Art Walk Special Presentation
Art has always been a catalyst for conversation, reflection, and community. During the Central District Art Walk, join ARTE NOIR and The Hansberry Project for a staged reading of UNDER SIEGE—a collectively created play written by 30 Black women and femme writers and overseen by Lynn Nottage and Dominique Morisseau. Created in response to the erasure of Black women and femme voices, this powerful work is presented as part of Fall of Freedom, a nationwide collective of artists and cultural organizations using creativity to spark dialogue and civic imagination.
The ARTE NOIR Gallery and Shop will also be open during the art walk. See you there!
